“We are heading into the dark days of winter. Winter is a horrifically dangerous and destructive time for young people dealing with addiction and mental health,” Warp Corps owner and founder Rob Mutert, speaking at a Warp Corps fundraising event Friday September 1, 2023.
The event featured a Q&A session comprised of event attendees, community leaders, and several organizations that are also working to prevent drug addiction, suicide and homelessness, throughout McHenry County.
The event also featured a showing of ‘Prevention Through Engagement’ an award winning, short film that profiles the work and services Warp Corps provides to individuals throughout the community.
